Were working with a prestigious Cambridge college to find a Housekeeping Supervisor (role by title is Assistant Housekeeper however you need to have previous supervisory experience) to support the Housekeeping Operations Manager and help lead a team of 28+ domestic staff. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards across student rooms, guest accommodation, study areas, and communal spaces.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support a team of bedmakers, porters, and linen staff.

Coordinate daily operations including staff rotas, room allocations, and induction of new team members.

Ensure cleaning standards are met through regular inspections and staff feedback.

Liaise with college departments, maintenance teams, and external laundry services.

Manage stock levels, oversee chemical and linen supplies, and maintain administrative records.

Provide cover for the Housekeeping Operations Manager as needed.

What Were Looking For: Previous experience supervising in a housekeeping or facilities setting.
