Interim Accountant York 12 month FTC c£50,000 Onsite parking Campbell Grove Talent are working exclusively with a fantastic York based business with an international presence, who are looking to recruit anInterim Accountanton a long term FTC. The role offers excellent exposure to a complex set of accounts and would suit someone who enjoys getting fully involved in the detail, while also contributing to improvements in the way things are done. This is a very hands on role so youll need to be comfortableworking autonomously, while partnering closely with the Financial Controller. Astrong background in management accounts and process improvementswill be key, as the business is keen to continue enhancing its finance processes. Over the course of the contract, youll gain broad, practical experience and the opportunity to make a genuine impact. What youll be doing: Youll be closely involved in themonthly management accounts cycle, helping to ensure the finance function delivers accurate and insightful reporting. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with theproduction of monthly UK management accounts Preparing and postingmonth-end journals, including accruals and prepayments Completing and maintainingbalance sheet reconciliations Supporting the review and analysis ofP&L performance, taking ownership of specific cost areas Managingcorporate credit card transactions and employee expenses Acting as a key finance contact forinternal queries, building relationships with teams across the business Supporting theprocessing and reconciliation of customer payments Contributing to theidentification and implementation of process improvements within finance What theyre looking for: PQ CIMA/ACCA/ QBE Strongmanagement accounts experience A proven ability to contribute to or driveprocess improvements Someone hands on and able to manage multiple priorities Ideally, youll be able tostart over the next couple of weeks.
