About the Pub The Shoulder of Mutton is a well-presented village hub with a strong customer base that has recently undergone a full function room refurbishment and updated external decoration. The main trading area is open plan with a central bar servery, a snug to the front and separate dining area, with around 40 covers. The pub has a homely yet modern feel, with warm colours and an open fireplace, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both drinkers and diners. A fully equipped catering kitchen is available to manage a classic pub menu and a recently developed cellar has been constructed to service the bar area. There is a lovely patio to the side of the pub that overlooks the river with seating for 20 people, further to this there are a number of benches located on the grass next to the river wall. A large, tarmacked car park is adjacent to the building, surrounded by greenery and provides spaces for up to 25 vehicles. Regional Manager's Thoughts This is a fantastic business that already has great foundations in place for the right publican to build further on. Due to the location of the pub, there are so many opportunities to make this pub a community hub, whilst also taking advantage of the ale trail. I am seeking a publican who can drive both the wet and dry sales and also imbed themselves within the local community to maximise the potential sales. Surrounding Area Beautiful village location surrounded by greenry, with ariver near by.
