Responsibilities
With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:
* Social companionship
* Support with daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and cooking/meal preparation.
* Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings.
* Standby assistance with transfers.
* Overnight safety assistance.
Qualifications
* No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred.
* Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s care a plus.
* Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
* Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state).
* Proof of current, negative tuberculosis (TB) test.
* Physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push, and pull approximately 25 lbs.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver’s license and valid automobile insurance.
* Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts.
