Red Sector Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading 24-hour veterinary hospital in South London to recruit an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon for a highly sought-after permanent position.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a dedicated out-of-hours clinical role where you will work exclusively nights on a highly attractive 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota, giving you genuine extended recovery time and an exceptional work-life balance that is rarely matched in the sector.
The Role – Night Veterinary Surgeon
You’ll be joining a fully supported emergency and critical care night team, working alongside an experienced night RVN within a well-established hospital environment handling a varied and complex caseload.
This is a genuinely clinical, hands-on role covering emergency medicine, surgery, inpatient management and critical decision-making during out-of-hours care.
The hospital environment is fully equipped with advanced diagnostics and surgical capability, including:
* CT imaging suite
* Two fully equipped surgical theatres
* Ultrasound diagnostics
* Endoscopy facilities
* Comprehensive inpatient care setup

We are seeking a fully qualified MRCVS veterinary surgeon who is confident working in a hospital or emergency environment. You should be comfortable with sole charge night work and enjoy making clinical decisions in a fast-moving setting.
