The role of Interior Designer will involve conceptual and detail design development, working cohesively as a member of our multi-disciplinary project teams. There will be a requirement to assist in the delivery of schemes through the development of presentation materials, space planning and interior design package information, taking part in stakeholder engagement sessions and consulting with members of the wider Design Team to develop and co-ordinate design proposals.
Provide interior design expertise within project teams to support the successful delivery of projects in line with client requirements, typically across RIBA Stages 0–4, working flexibly either independently where required or in support of the discipline and/or project lead.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
* Background in private and public sector architectural projects, with experience specialising in Workplace Design.
* An understanding of building legislation and product development to undertake the production and coordination of design and construction information.
* Ability to input into all stages of an architectural project, in an interior design capacity, from concept to detail design delivery. Capable of managing the delivery of package/project information.
* Able to consult with members of the wider Design Team (e.g. architectural, MEP, structural or IT consultants) to co‑ordinate proposals and advise of potential clashes or design issues.
* A basic understanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety principles.
* Sound product knowledge – FF&E, wall & floor finishes etc.
* Problem solving/analysis – using initiative and experience in managing challenging situations.
* CAD drafting. Revit preferred or recognised equivalent e.g. AutoCAD as minimum.
* Presentation and graphical skills with experience in Adobe Suite.
* Experienced in Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Have an ability to communicate technical detail graphically and effectively to both colleagues and client teams.
* Specification writing capability with relevant NBS software.
* Working knowledge of all stages of design and procurement.
* Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).
* Experience of CDE i.e. Viewpoint.
Qualifications:
* BA(Hons) Interior Design or BA(Hons) Interior Architecture or recognised, approved equivalent.
