My client, a well-established and growing Top 50 accountancy firm, are looking to hire a Cloud Accounting Technician to join their team in Milton Keynes. Responsibilities: • Reviewing bookkeeping transactions posted by junior members of the team • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining accurate financial records • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, communicating via email and telephone • Handling a variety of client queries and providing support where required • Coordinating with internal staff to ensure client records remain accurate and up to date • Preparing and submitting VAT returns • Assisting senior team members with the preparation of books for year-end accounts • Supporting adherence to professional ethics and best practice within the workplace • Providing general administrative support to the team as required Requirements: • AAT qualified or qualified by experience • GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C (4) or above • IT competent with working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel • Ability to work independently and use initiative when required • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner • Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a busy environment Benefits: • Hybrid working available with flexible working hours • Annual Christmas bonus equivalent to one week’s salary • Salary sacrifice pension scheme (Employer 5% / Employee 3%) • Private medical insurance after probation • Death in service cover (4x salary) • Group income protection scheme • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.
