Our Mission
Fossil fuel emissions are at an all-time high, and much of those emissions come from the factories that produce iron, steel and cement for Western markets. Now a game-changing law called the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is forcing firms to pay for their supply chain emissions. The only problem? CBAM requires an unprecedented level of data that many businesses struggle to find.
Cbamboo was set up to answer that need. Our mission is to decarbonise industrial supply chains by helping companies to understand and optimise their carbon border taxes. Our platform connects decision makers with their value chain emissions. It keeps companies compliant with CBAM. And it will integrate carbon prices into key management decisions for the first time.
Backed by leading venture capital funds and with a mission-driven spirit, we’re guiding the decision-making of the world’s biggest polluters. Our analytics platform will play an outsize role in driving down global emissions.
Your Mission
You will sit at the heart of the founding team.
Our users around the world need your guidance, plus our software, to make sense of complex carbon accounting rules. You will be involved in every aspect of the customer’s experience, from kick-off calls and initial onboarding, to the fine details of their carbon analysis, and discussing new functionality releases and plans.
Within Cbamboo, you will take on the voice of the customer, working closely with our product developers so that we build what businesses most urgently need.
You report to founders who will support your growth. You will set the benchmark for what outstanding customer support looks like in our fast-growing company.
This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic climate startup at the initial stages of its journey.
What you’ll do
Dedicate yourself to helping our customers manage their CBAM compliance journey. Our key customers are companies in the European Union, who are directly liable for CBAM regulation. You will engage with them across calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events, and conduct regular check-ins to understand their needs and goals. There is a learning curve for them and you will help them progress through it. In doing so you will also help them engage with the Cbamboo platform where they can manage their compliance and data needs. Your exceptional customer service will ensure our customers stay happy for the long run.
Work with the world’s biggest polluters to calculate their emissions. CBAM requires the world’s industrial supply chain to monitor their emissions and report them to their EU-based customers. This is a challenging, technical process. You will create and deliver training materials and documentation to get users to understand requirements. With the support of the Cbamboo software platform, you will be the users’ personal guide – listening, sharing knowledge, and managing uncertainties in a collaborative and honest way.
Be the bridge between the commercial and product sides of the business. We are here to serve our customers. As the person who will speak to them more than anyone else, you will develop profound insights into what is working on our platform and what isn’t. You will sit in product development meetings and guide the direction of our software platform.
