An exciting opportunity awaits to join our talented Digital Team as a PHP Back End Developer. In this role, you'll help build great websites and apps for a diverse range of well-known brands, taking a proactive role in project responsibilities and collaborating closely with team members to share your IT and digital skills.
About You
You are enthusiastic, focused, passionate about coding, and eager to embrace new emerging technologies. You possess solid technical knowledge, including modern programming skills, with at least 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer. Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Essential and Desirable Skills
* Proven experience in all technical aspects of back-end web development
* Highly proficient in PHP and MySQL
* Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites
* Collaborative experience working with front-end developers
* Knowledge of current coding techniques and best practices
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable in client meetings
* Flexible team player with a proactive problem-solving approach
* Ability to work under tight deadlines
* Computer science qualification or equivalent
* Knowledge of .NET (Visual Studio, C#) and Umbraco
* Understanding of UX/UI design principles
* Experience with iOS and Android app development
* Knowledge of SEO, form tracking, and split testing
* Experience with SVN and version control management
