Position: Main Gate Security-Concierge
Type: Full-Time, Hospitality, Events & Tourism
Responsibilities:
* Greet visitors and screen vendors, contractors, delivery drivers, and guests to prevent unauthorized access to The Highlands private community.
* Monitor property entrances via surveillance systems.
* Identify visitors, verify credentials, and request identification if necessary.
* Respond to distress calls or emergencies and call for aid when needed.
* Use radios and cell phones to communicate with staff during emergencies.
* Answer calls, take messages, and provide information when the administrative office is closed.
* Report violations and inspect security systems for tampering or operational issues.
* Maintain vigilance and situational awareness to ensure safety.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Good knowledge of security operations.
* Preferred: Valid driver’s license, security/law enforcement experience, customer service, hospitality skills.
Physical Demands: Regular talking, listening, standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, and visual acuity.
Work Hours: Full-time, days and hours to be determined; no travel expected.
Eligibility: Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US. No special security clearance required.
