About the role:
As a Project Manager within JCB Power Products in Wrexham, you’ll play a key role in delivering both current product upgrades and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused position requiring strong day-to-day coordination across multiple functions to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
You’ll be responsible for tracking cross-functional activity in line with established group processes, ensuring robust and timely product solutions are achieved. The role requires strong communication, energy, and a proactive mindset, alongside the ability to influence and drive progress across stakeholders.
What does this role involve day to day?
Project Coordination & Delivery
•Manage day-to-day coordination of current product upgrades and NPI projects
•Track cross-functional activity to ensure alignment with group processes and timelines
•Drive delivery of robust product solutions to agreed milestones
Governance & Reporting
•Lead and facilitate project and cross-functional reviews in line with established processes
•Produce, maintain, and report on key project metrics
•Ensure project documentation and governance standards are met
Risk & Issue Management
•Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans
•Support and manage escalations to ensure timely resolution
•Proactively address challenges impacting delivery
Stakeholder Management
•Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project progress
•Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
•Present project updates, risks, and progress to senior stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
•Contribute to improving project delivery processes and methodologies
•Support adherence to gated processes and business delivery frameworks
This will be suited to you if…
•You have project management experience within a manufacturing environment
•You have a good understanding of business delivery frameworks and gated processes
•You have transferable knowledge of powertrain or power generation (desirable)
•You bring high energy, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills
•You're confident leading cross-functional activity and influencing stakeholders
•You're organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities
•You have strong problem-solving skills with the tenacity to overcome challenges and achieve results
•You're comfortable presenting to stakeholders and managing expectations
•You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven to deliver outcomes
