My client, well established in its field, based in Stevenage, are looking for an Export Engineering Delivery Lead to join the team where you will be supporting the delivery of strategically important export programmes. The role is ideal for someone with a background in engineering, systems integration, project engineering or technical delivery who is looking for a challenge and wants to broaden their experience in a fast paced, customer facing environment.
* You will help manage the complex and challenging technical interface between the company the the Export customer.
* Deliver the technical scope of export contracts
* Support the Head of Export Engineering Delivery in delivering technical elements of specific contracts
* Work to ensure customer requirements, sequencing and contractual scope are understood across the teams
* Support the co-ordination and resolution of technical issues
* Prepare clear technical summaries and briefing packs
* Assist in developing Statements of Requirement and Statements of Work
Experience required as follows:-
* Experience in working in complex and technically challenging programmes (ideally defence)
* The ability to act with a high degree of autonomy to deliver complex programmes
* Strong organisational and co-ordination skills
* Confidence to interpret and communicate technical information both internally and to overseas customers
* Awareness of commercial and contractual considerations and how technical decisions influence cost, schedule and scope
In return they offer a salary of circa £65k plus bonus, great benefits and hybrid working (2-3 days on site). Some travel will be required.
