Customer Sales Advisor – Contract Catering / Compass Sector

About the Role We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Sales Advisors to join our busy Contract Catering / Compass sector sales team. In this role, you will manage and develop a portfolio of customers, ensuring exceptional service while identifying opportunities to grow sales. You will work closely with internal teams to process orders accurately and provide an excellent experience for every customer. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering great results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally
* Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Produce and follow up on quotations to maximise sales opportunities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products
* Support account managers with tenders, product sourcing, and customer requests
* Meet and exceed sales and service targets (KPIs)
* Keep records and systems up to date and accurate
* Provide consistent, high-quality customer service at all times
About You:
* Previous experience in a customer service or sales role (office-based preferred)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
* Confident using computers, CRM systems, and other digital tools
* Positive, proactive, and able to work well in a team or independently
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the catering, hospitality, or equipment supply industry
* Experience working towards revenue or performance targets
