Quality and Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Our company is a global leader in energy solutions. We’re looking for a Quality & Manufacturing Engineering Manager at our Lomondgate site in Dumbarton. This role involves responsibility for developing and deploying our Operational & Quality Excellence Programme, creating and deploying the manufacturing engineering function for new and legacy products, and overarching responsibility for product & QMS quality standards, compliance, warranty, and aftercare.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop the org design & operational excellence programme for roles & responsibilities.
* Lead the org design for Quality, Assurance & QMS.
* Develop robust scorecard measures & reporting for the quality & ME department.
* Be at the forefront of the operational excellence program to improve the flow of material and products through manufacturing and drive a zero‑defect culture.
* Develop the warranty & aftercare process across engineering quality and supply chain.
Required Skills & Experience
* Professional change leader with extensive background in operational excellence & quality development, deployment, tools & systems, and specific manufacturing engineering experience.
* A proven track record in driving measurable product and supplier quality improvement.
* Experience in developing and deploying Quality improvement programmes (QMS, product quality, assurance, aftercare).
* Passionate about change, able to identify and prioritise projects that will deliver real and measurable benefit.
* Experience of implementing, managing and developing Quality Management Systems, e.g. ISO9001.
