You will join a Mental Health and Wellbeing Team already established in HMP Norwich which provides multi-disciplinary specialist assessment and treatment services to the population of HMP Norwich.
You will be working closely with prison staff and a range of other partners who provide physical health care and substance misuse services to the prison population.

Main duties of the job
You will need to be enthusiastic and conscientious and do everything you can to provide the best care to our service users.
We are looking for someone who displays compassion, empathy and is sensitive in their approach to people who may be distressed or have a challenging manner.
You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of mental health diagnoses and presentation.
Main Duties of the Job :
* Undertaking patient reviews and recognising symptoms that indicate deterioration in mental health and well being
* Supporting nurses in the management of caseloads
* Liaising with other professionals to ensure a wholistic approach to patient care is achieved
* Contributing to the clinical meetings
Effective personal planning and organisation of daily work lo
Maintain respectful, effective professional interpersonal relationships with others
