Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We're now looking for a qualified and commercially astute FP&A Manager to join our expanding finance team. About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, this role plays a critical part in the financial planning and strategic direction of the business. You'll lead the budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year planning cycles, support monthly Board reporting, and build financial models that underpin major business decisions.
You'll be comfortable working cross-functionally with executives, commercial leaders, and the analytics team to provide insight, influence, and clarity on performance-both operationally and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the monthly Board reporting process and prepare executive-level financial analysis
* Build and enhance integrated financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and investor metrics
* Manage full budget and forecasting processes, including P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet
* Analyse performance, trends, and variances; create commentary and recommendations
* Support Plc reporting including interim/full-year results, RNS statements, and investor presentations
* Work closely with the Commercial FD and FC to align financial strategy and statutory compliance
* Collaborate with departments to prepare strategic plans and provide financial support on business cases
* Drive continuous improvement of financial planning tools, processes, and reporting frameworks
What We're Looking For
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Strong financial modelling and Excel expertise (advanced level)
* Proven FP&A or commercial finance experience in a fast-paced, complex organisation
* Excellent communication and presentation skills-comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
* Highly analytical with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
* Collaborative, proactive, and able to work independently
* Comfortable with occasional travel to sites across England & Wales
