Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant – Acute Inpatient Mental Health
We have a great opportunity for two motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistants, with an interest in working in our Acute Inpatient Mental Health team.
The posts involve delivering guided physiotherapy intervention for people with a range of mental health conditions across psychiatric intensive care units, treatment wards, older adult wards, dementia settings, mental health rehabilitation settings, learning disability units and an eating disorder clinic.
Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical work both with individuals and in group settings.
* Carry out non‑clinical housekeeping duties and equipment management.
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and, where appropriate, work independently.
* Develop knowledge and skills around a complex and varied client group, supported by qualified physiotherapists and the wider AHP team.
* Provide services based in Coventry and travel to other bases in Warwick, Coventry and Nuneaton.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Competent IT skills.
* Physical fitness suitable for the role.
* Ability to work efficiently, responsibly and independently as part of an MDT.
* Valid car driver’s licence and car driver per role.
