We support over colleagues working across Great Britain and, our services keep inspectors functioning effectively and efficiently on industrial sites nationwide, from oil platforms in the North Sea to our deepest mines and quarries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage divisional recruitment activity including permanent and contingent roles. Ensure consistent collaboration with HR, Public Sector Resourcing, and hiring managers, to ensure that the process of onboarding new employees into HSE is seamless and timely.
2. Actively contribute to divisional support initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and service optimisation. Align improvement activities with the Technology Division (TD) business plan to ensure strategic goals are met and sustained.
3. Oversee a range of operational tasks to support Senior Leadership Team (SLT) effectiveness, including: budget tracking, Divisional DSE assessments, procurement coordination, governance reporting and compliance, and, provide support for the Director of Digital’s Executive Assistant during absences or peak demand.
4. Plan and deliver divisional meetings and events, ensuring agendas are prepared, actions are tracked and followed up, and logistics are managed efficiently. Provide support for both in-person and virtual formats.
5. Ensure key resources such as SharePoint sites, organigrams, templates, and guidance documents are up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with divisional standards.
6. Capture, analyse, and interpret data to support assurance activities. Produce accurate and timely monthly reports for the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), contributing to informed decision-making and governance.
7. Coordinate divisional training needs, including the preparation and submission of annual L&D bids. Monitor training budgets, track spend, and report progress to SLT, ensuring alignment with strategic training development.
8. Oversee divisional communications, including newsletters and team channels, ensuring timely and effective messaging.
