SEN Teaching Assistant – SEMH Provision
Location: Central Exeter
Start Date: Immediate / After May Half-Term
Pay Rate: £90 - £105 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive specialist school in Central Exeter, catering to pupils with SEMH needs. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, self-regulation, and a love for learning. They are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, or additional challenges
Be calm, patient, and able to build strong relationships
Have a proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to different needs
Be committed to creating a positive and safe learning environment
Hold Team Teach or similar behaviour training (advantageous but not essential)
