The Store Manager oversees store success, from sales and profitability to customer service and operational standards.

About The Role

Suitable for current Catering, Store, or Restaurant Managers, or experienced Supervisors, Assistant Managers, or Deputy Managers seeking career progression. Management experience in a fast-paced retail environment is essential.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Recruitment, induction, and training of staff in line with Subway standards, leading by example.
2. Creating and managing staff schedules.
3. Checking deliveries, matching orders, and handling daily banking.
4. Preparing stock and sales paperwork, employee pay, and timesheets.
5. Managing cash balances and minimizing wastage.
6. Ensuring 100% compliance with Subway and local guidelines.
7. Inventory management, stock control, weekly stock takes, and reporting.
8. Analyzing sales and inventory reports to improve business performance.
9. Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation.
10. Implementing in-store marketing materials and point-of-purchase displays in line with campaigns.
11. Following safety procedures to prevent injuries.
12. Providing a safe environment for staff and customers.
13. Promoting high customer service standards among staff.
14. Handling escalated customer complaints.
15. Delivering excellent service in product handling, sales, and catering to customer needs.
