Accounting Technician AAT Level 3 Apprenticeship - (Grade 3, £24,796 to £25,899 Per Annum – Pay Award Pending) We have an exciting opportunity to join our finance team as we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us at East Staffordshire Borough Council as an Accounting Technician (AAT Level 3 Apprentice) to support the day-to-day delivery of financial support to the Council. The apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on Finance experience whilst studying to achieve the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification (AAT), with the post focussed on supporting our revenue and capital accounting teams. We are looking for somebody who has: Great interpersonal skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT applications Experience of being part of a team Accuracy and attention to detail Meets the entry requirements for the apprenticeship: Assistant Accountant Level 3 - Achieved GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or higher and a level 2 Accounting Technician or equivalent (such as relevant A-Levels e.g. Business or Maths) We would be looking for the successful candidate to start in September, making the post suitable for those completing qualifications in the summer of 2026 and having their results in place by the proposed start date.
