Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will takemercial responsibility for projects across the industrial, retail, education and healthcare sectors, covering both new build developments and refurbishment works. You will manage costs throughout the project lifecycle, oversee procurement, support subcontractor management, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting. You’ll work closely with project managers and the wider delivery teams to maintain strongmercial performance and support successful project oues.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector with new build or refurbishment experience
2. Quantity Surveying degree or in a related field
3. Strongmercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, costs and contractual matters.
4. Experience working on new build or refurbishment projects within any of the following sectors: industrial, retail, education or healthcare.
5. Excellentmunication and negotiation skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
6. A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
