Receptionist

Location: Coventry Road Dental, Birmingham.


Overview

As a Receptionist you are at the heart of your practice. You are the first point of contact for every customer. Welcoming them in, understanding how they are feeling, and making sure they have a great experience. You’ll know that first impressions count. You’ll work side by side with every team member and build trust through your efficiency, accuracy, and people skills. You’ll be a great communicator, able to talk clearly and calmly with every patient both in person and over the phone, and you’ll handle concerns and queries regarding the treatments on offer in the practice, including pricing and follow ups.


Hours

37.50 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

* Providing an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
* Managing the diaries and ensuring time is filled correctly
* Working with the team to understand NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice
* Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale
* Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt
* Liaising with dental laboratories, supplying companies and other organisations


Key Skills and Experience

* Ability to easily build rapport and provide high-level customer service
* Desire to learn treatment options within the dental sector and become an expert on what the practice offers
* Passionate about driving the success of the practice by seizing opportunities
* Ability to follow processes and work in a structured and organized way
* Comfortable working to practice KPIs (call answer rate, data capture and rebooking)
* IT skills with the ability to learn SOE software
* Positive, resilient, and composed under pressure
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent team player
