About the roleAs an IT Support technician with expertise in IT domain you will collaborate with our client's IT Support team. You will be responsible for supporting the secure migration and refresh of laptops, ensuring accurate handover, tracking, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.Tell me more, tell me more…Our client is currently looking for a recruit in joining their current team, below are the job details for your reference:You can also ask our friendly recruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00am till 17.00pm Monday to Friday.Shifts:Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) - 9:00 am - 5:30 pmNote: Active SC (Security Clearance) - mandatory for this roleRoles and Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the setup and daily operation of the onsite Refresh Clinic
* Transport devices between onsite storage and the Refresh Clinic as instructed
* Log into systems using contractor-provided devices under supervision
* Refresh laptops and manage device handovers according to the migration schedule
* Collect existing devices from users and distribute new ones following project protocols
* Ensure accurate device counts and update the contractor's workflow management system at each step
* Promptly report any issues to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager
* Escalate unresolved issues to the onsite Post Migration Support Engineer
* Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings
* Package returned devices correctly and label them for disposal or refurbishment per Designation Rules
* Secure all devices and equipment in the onsite storage location at the end of each day
Other stuff we're potentially looking for:
* Active SC (Security Clearance) - mandatory for this role
* Experience in IT hardware handling or migration support preferred
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
* Good communication skills and ability to work under supervision
* Physically able to move and handle IT equipment safely.
