Information about the role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intelligence Assessor to join the Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) team in the Operational Intelligence Management Unit (OIMU).
As an Intelligence Assessor within the OIMU you will be responsible for receiving, assessing and evaluating intelligence. You will have an ability to gather information / intelligence to inform decision making and you will take ownership of tasking and prioritise any immediate actions based on the threat and risk presented in order to identify further intelligence or evidential opportunities and mitigate any identified threat.
You will be able to problem solve in conjunction with partners and will act as a conduit for the two-way flow of overt, sensitive and secret information. This means that you will manage intelligence for live operations across the South East and will contribute to the development of strategic and tactical intelligence assessments, target and problem profiles and other National Intelligence Model products.
