About the role
We are looking for a Receptionist to join the team here at Matalan on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Here at Matalan, we create a vibrant, warm welcoming atmosphere where we place our customers at the heart of everything we do. Being the first face, many will see, you'll be an important role model when it comes to what great customer service looks like. You will provide first point of contact for all visitors to the company's support hub, playing a vital role being our front of house support.
Principle Accountabilities:
* To greet visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
* To work closely with the on-site security team, booking in visitors' vehicles so they can access our car park.
* To book in visitors and make host aware.
* Handling all forms of communication in and out of reception to relevant departments.
* Keep updated with departmental changes. General knowledge of all departmental functions across the business.
* Booking of Taxi's and confirm correct collection times.
* Assist post room functions, dealing with couriers and assisting colleagues with post queries.
* To ensure, in conjunction with the support hub cleaners, that the reception areas are always kept clean and presentable.
* To manage bookings of conference Centre and arrange for the required layout to be actioned by the Facilities team.
* To conduct inspections of the Conference Centre and meeting rooms to ensure they are kept clean, tidy, and ready for use.
* To ensure the support hub meeting room booking system is up to date.
* To support the wider Facilities department as and when required.
* To support the PA team with ad hoc tasks as and when needed.
About You
Our reception team are the heart of everything we do, so it's important that fantastic customer service is always at the forefront!
We are looking for someone with:
* Great organization skills
* Friendly and approachable
Attention to detail
* Customer service skills
* I.T know-how - with proficiency in Microsoft office and Excel
* Previous receptionist experience essential
