What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting day‑to‑day (BAU) infrastructure operations, ensuring systems remain stable, secure, and performant
* Contributing to the Continual Improvement workstream, delivering larger packages of work to modernise and enhance the infrastructure environment
* Managing and maintaining on‑prem server environments, including patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
* Administering VMware virtualised environments, including provisioning, optimisation, and troubleshooting
* Managing backup and recovery solutions, regularly validating backups and performing restores when required
* Working with cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS, supporting existing environments and assisting with improvement activities
About You
What you’ll bring to the team
* A well‑rounded infrastructure skillset, with the ability to support a wide range of technologies and day‑to‑day operations
* A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to owning issues and seeing them through to resolution
* A commitment to continuous learning, development, and progression, keeping skills up to date as technologies evolve
* Strong technical capability, with experience supporting backups, storage, virtualised environments (VMware), cloud platforms and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain stable BAU operations
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, contributing positively to team objectives
* An automation‑first mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to streamline and standardise infrastructure operations through scripting, tooling, and modern automation practices

Working Hours
This role operates on a hybrid working model, with a requirement to attend the office one day per week as standard. Work hours are covered via a shift‑based rota with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.
