Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Location: Cardiff (Candidates will be required to cover the South West Wales Region)

Salary: GBP45,000 per year + 50 OTE

Job type: Full time, permanent. Monday to Friday / 8-hour shifts / no weekends required

The Regional Sales Manager will manage and grow revenue across existing customer portfolios and acquire new customers to increase market share. While the customer base is B2B, the successful candidate will also support B2C engagement strategies to maximize demand.

The role involves dealing with a varied customer base in retail and commercial markets. It is customer-facing, with most time spent meeting clients and working with an office-based team providing sales and customer support. Sector knowledge is desirable but not essential.


You Will Be Responsible For

1. Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets, including creating comprehensive sales plans aligned with company goals.
2. Formulating short-term and long-term strategies based on market demands, competitors, and internal resources.
3. Managing workload effectively through time management and prioritization to maximize outcomes.
4. Using tools and systems to manage leads, schedule meetings, and optimize productivity.
5. Focusing on high-priority clients and opportunities to maximize sales efforts.
6. Analyzing sales trends, customer behaviors, and market data to identify growth opportunities.
7. Identifying new sales opportunities in untapped or underserved markets.
8. Developing flexible sales approaches to adapt to changing customer requirements and market conditions.
9. Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
10. Maintaining regular communication with key accounts to foster trust and loyalty.
11. Collaborating with product development teams to incorporate customer feedback into new products.
12. Staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies, sharing insights with internal teams.
13. Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the company.
