About The Role
Working Pattern
Covering 5 days in 7, rotating between 4.30am and 11.30pm
We are looking for Duty Managers to oversee the safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery of cabin cleaning services for a prestigious airline. You will lead frontline teams during your shift, ensure aircraft are cleaned to exceptional standards, and help maintain smooth turnaround performance in a fast‑paced aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage shift‑based delivery of aircraft presentation for the airline.
* Lead, support and motivate frontline teams to achieve high standards and on‑time performance.
* Ensure all cleaning tasks meet operational requirements, service levels and safety standards.
* Work closely with Virgin Atlantic operations, crew and turnaround teams to resolve issues quickly.
* Conduct quality checks, support audits and take action to address any performance gaps.
* Support rostering, resource allocation and real‑time operational decision‑making.
* Maintain Health & Safety compliance and promote a safe working culture.
* Provide clear handovers and ensure consistent communication between shifts.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in aviation, facilities management, soft services or other fast‑paced operational roles.
* Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and direct frontline teams.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Highly organised, calm under pressure and confident making quick decisions.
* Committed to delivering quality, safety and exceptional service.

* Undergo vetting to CAA standards and security clearance, must have right to work in the UK.
