Role Overview
The Field Service Engineer - Food Pro plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our food processing equipment at client sites. This is a hands‑on position requiring technical expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be the face of Bizerba, delivering exceptional service and support to our valued customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide on‑site installation, maintenance, and repair services for Bizerba food processing and weighing equipment.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime for customers.
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
* Collaborate with the technical support and engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
* Maintain accurate service records and reports using company systems.
* Advise customers on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance to optimise performance.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with product knowledge and industry trends.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while working on customer sites.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably within the food processing or engineering sectors.
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
* Experience with industrial weighing, slicing, or labelling equipment is highly desirable.
* Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
* Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
* Good IT skills, including familiarity with service management software.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
