Job Description

What you'll do
As a Release Governance Manager, you’ll assess release quality gates, create governance reports and communication materials, and establish and maintain evidence to satisfy audit controls and requirements. You’ll help define the release governance target operating model, including process redesign and redefinition of quality controls and guidelines.
You’ll collaborate closely with delivery teams, including project managers, testers, and business representatives, as well as colleagues from release, environment, and cutover management.
You’ll also be:
* Monitoring the scope of all releases by reviewing delivery progress regularly.
* Acting as a release gatekeeper by reviewing delivery progress against defined release gates to ensure quality.
* Guiding projects and delivery teams through the release gates.
* Creating governance reports and communicating with stakeholders.
* Managing cross-project dependencies and driving alignment activities.
* Responsible for central communication to plan, coordinate, and deploy bank-wide releases.
* Contributing to the evolution of the release governance target operating model for more frequent releases.
The skills you'll need
You should be an experienced IT project manager with project management experience, solution and service-oriented, with ownership of tasks, a self-starter, and capable of prioritizing and planning effectively. You should be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
Additionally, you will need:
* Expertise in release gate assessment and reporting
* Knowledge of Agile methodology and the software development lifecycle
* Analytical skills and attention to detail
* Experience with JIRA and Confluence
* The ability to work under pressure and take initiative
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively
