Job Outline
Position: Care Locality Manager - (LM)
Reports to: Registered Manager - (RM)
Direct reports: Field Care Supervisor (FCS)/Care professionals
Key Tasks:
* Build strong relationships with Social Services, CCGs and local community groups.
* To work with the FCS and RM to ensure all areas are compliant at all times.
* Answering incoming phone calls in a professional manner and ensuring they are actioned accordingly.
* LM to liaise with the FCS and ensure all changeovers are managed appropriately
* They will work collaboratively with the FCS & recruitment coordinator ensuring that all new packages, carer holiday/sickness are covered
* Promote Abicare Services to Commissioning Managers, Hospital Social Workers and Discharge Teams.
Clients:
* To build client relationships within their team. Have a comprehensive knowledge of where care recipients are in their care journey
* Review care recipient requirements and make sure they are met.
* To meet with care recipients and ensure the quality in the community is being delivered and to carry out.
* Quality checks and visits, including online files and in care recipients homes.
Staff:
* To coordinate care professional supervisions and performance monitoring
* Develop your care team to ensure they have the correct skills and knowledge, whilst looking after their safety and wellbeing. Promote Equality & Diversity.
* To liaise with the company trainer to ensure the supervision/ training matrix is always up to date.
* To complete regular supervisions and yearly appraisals with FCS and set KPI’s
* To ensure that all training is in date for FCS & carer professionals
Compliance:
* Manage the FCS and be supported by the Registered Manager to ensure all areas are compliant at all times
* To ensure rotas are completed in a timely manner using the company roster system
* To complete and investigate any safeguarding concerns. To work closely with the local authorities and CQC/CIW in ensuring reports are carried out and completed in a timely manner.
* To be a part of CQC/CIW inspections
* To ensure CQC/CIW notifications are completed and sent in a timely manner
* To investigate all concerns and complaints in a timely manner
On-call
You will be required to be part of the on-call rota (out-side of office hours).

About The Role
The Person:
You will have:
* Previous Management experience within the social care sector -preferably Live-in/Domiciliary Care
* Minimum of Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care, working towards Level 4 or 5.
* Sound knowledge CQC Regulations and person-centred care.
* Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
* Excellent IT and communication skills
* Full driving licence with car
