We are hiring for the role of Vice President in the Sourcing and Vendor Management (SVM) practice. This UK-based position will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, supporting client relationships, and leading cross-functional collaboration across service lines. This analyst role is ideal for someone with a blend of consulting/research and procurement experience—particularly in outsourced and tech-enabled services categories.
The Vice President for SVM will report to the Partner leading the SVM service line and will serve as a client-facing advisor. This person will collaborate closely with Sales and other analyst leaders to address enterprise needs, while contributing directly to Everest Group’s growth through strategic client engagement and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and expand Everest Group’s market penetration with sourcing and VMO practitioners across industries including BFSI, healthcare, life sciences, energy, telecom, and high tech.
* Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on sourcing and management of outsourced and tech suppliers, including supplier management, category management, operating model design, and supply risk.
* Deliver expert briefings, inquiries, and high-value engagements that identify opportunities for deeper support in tech, tech services, and BPO categories (e.g., pricing, cloud, GenAI, finance, HR, customer experience).
* Participate in revenue generation—partner with Sales on calls, respond to RFPs, and refine proposals related to market intelligence and commercial assurance.
* Guide the creation of innovative research on Procurement related technologies (ProcureTech).
* Lead tailored, research-based consulting projects on sourcing and vendor management topics.
* Collaborate with a global team, ensuring alignment, mentorship, and delivery excellence.
* Advocate for client needs and serve as the “tip of the spear” for custom projects involving multiple service lines.
* Support Everest Group’s presence in sourcing events and with procure-tech providers by delivering thought leadership presentations.
* Operate with a growth mindset, fostering innovation and market sensitivity in developing new offerings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, or procurement consulting/research.
* Background in consulting, enterprise procurement, or managed procurement services.
* Familiarity with outsourced services and technology sourcing best practices.
* Proven client-facing experience with a strong sales mindset.
* Comfort with C-suite engagement and advising stakeholders on sourcing strategies.
* Experience in Everest Group’s core verticals (banking, insurance, healthcare, life sciences); telecom, energy, or high tech experience is a plus.
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment and proactively seek collaboration opportunities.
* Experience with offshore delivery models is a plus.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher preferred.
* Strong executive presence, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proven leadership of virtual teams and cross-functional influence.
* Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
