About Our Client

My client is a boutique Public Affairs, PR and Comms agency delivering a fully bespoke service to clients, offering strategic public and media relations advice and providing a tailored suite of services to a wide range of corporate, financial and private clients. Their advisory services are wide-ranging and focus on corporate and financial communications, crisis management, institutional relations and training.

Job Description

3. Draft, edit, and proofread press releases, proposals, op-eds, and other client materials.
4. Build, review, and maintain targeted media lists and journalist contacts across tier 1 and trade outlets.
5. Draft engaging client social media content, such as LinkedIn posts and event coverage.
6. Liaise with clients to arrange calls, meetings, and media opportunities.
7. Prepare, review, and circulate accurate meeting notes and support delivery of client activity plans.
8. Research and identify relevant journalists, proactively drafting and sending pitches.
9. Manage press release distribution, award/conference applications, and proactive media follow-up.
10. Monitor media coverage, compile clippings and reports, and share relevant articles with insight.
11. Track coverage logs and address inaccuracies by drafting professional correction requests.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Executive should have:

12. Previous similar level agency experience or experience in a communications role.
13. Eager to build strong media and political relationships and expand industry knowledge.
14. Ability to draft client-ready materials with minimal edits required.
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
16. Organised and dependable; able to meet deadlines consistently while managing multiple tasks.
17. Proactive, solutions-oriented, and willing to take initiative.
18. Collaborative team player with the ability to mentor interns and support colleagues.
