Role Description
The Head of Residential, taking responsibility of all residential sales and lettings activities. This opportunity allows the right candidate to grow their own business and a residential team.
The Head of Residential will manage pipelines from valuation to completion, including appraisals, property listings, viewings, negotiations, and offer management.
The position includes building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, buyers, landlords, and tenants, as well as developing local market presence and referral networks. The role also involves contributing to business planning, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation and company policies, and collaborating with other divisions to support cross-selling and consistent brand representation.
Qualifications
3 + years proven
* experience in residential property, including valuations, negotiations and deal progression.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
* Strong client relationship management, communication, and negotiation abilities, with a focus on service quality and professionalism.
* Solid understanding of UK residential property regulations, compliance requirements, contracts, and best practices.
* Commercial awareness with experience in setting targets, managing budgets, and contributing to business development and growth strategies.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple transactions and deadlines.
* Comfortable using property CRM systems and standard office software; openness to adopting new digital tools and processes.
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ARLA, NAEA, or equivalent) and prior experience in a senior or branch management role are highly advantageous.
