Overview
Delamere School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled class teacher to cover a 12-month maternity leave. The role is based in a Key Stage 2 class with pupils who have significant learning difficulties; autism; sensory processing disorders; are mainly pre-verbal and use alternative communication strategies. Both existing specialist teachers and mainstream teachers are welcome to apply. Please check the person specification carefully.
Responsibilities
* Be an outstanding teacher and contribute to maintaining our outstanding provision.

* Demonstrate commitment, dedication, determination and organisational skills to succeed in a demanding role.
* Lead a curriculum subject successfully and differentiate for pupils with a range of learning needs while remaining aspirational for all.
* Engage in multi-disciplinary teamwork and communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
* Lead and support a team of staff as required.
