- Knowle, Bristol ?? Start: ASAP Hours: Full-time or part-time A welcomingprimary school in Knowle is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant toprovide focused 1:1 support.
This role is ideal for someone with strong SENexperience who is passionate about helping pupils access learning in asupportive, structured environment.
Role Overview ?? Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies Encourage engagement, confidence and emotional regulation Support classroom routines, transitions and small-group work Candidate Profile ?? Previous SEN experience is essential Calm, patient and adaptable approach Strong communication and rapport-building skills Level 2/3 TA qualification advantageous Driving licence beneficial SEN training highly valued, including: Understanding Autism ADHD Awareness Team Teach / De-escalation Training Trauma-Informed Practice BSL or communication-based training Makaton (highly desirable for supporting communication needs) What You'll Receive ??
