Who will you be supporting? Currently two Gentlemen who live together at this service, both gentlemen have lived together for many years in different environments. Both gentlemen require full care and support in all areas of their daily living skills. There is a requirement for specific training which includes Epilepsy, Buccal Midazolam, Moving and Positioning, Safety interventions training and Dysphasia and Eating & Drinking What is important to us? Our excellent staff team that is fully trained in aspects of care Our staff organise activity events for to support us to, we do not always go together to the activities, we do both have our own preferences. Our activities do include a mix of going to the disco, sensory room, days out, bus rides, out for meals. Our interests are going out as much as we can as we love being out doing things we love with our support team Our support team are to ensure we have everything we need to live a fulfilled life. We do require our support team to fully support in all areas of our care and support needs and to ensure we remain safe. We are unable to use oral spoken language however when getting to know us you will get to learn our ways of communicating. We need our support staff to be patient with us, give us time to adjust to new people, and places. We need staff to be caring and understanding Other Important Information? Two staff on shift 24/7, on three days there will be an extra staff member to support with activities. We have a mixture of shifts which include 08:00-20:00hours, 08:00-14:00hours, 14:00-21:00hours, 20:00-08:00hours. We need you to be patient, we love to go out on activities, enjoy your job supporting us to live a full life Got heart? You’re halfway there.
