Senior to Associate level Civil Engineer
Salary: £50k - £70k DoE

A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is growing its Birmingham team and looking to appoint a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a strong pipeline of residential and mixed-use developments across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, design-led business where you will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading infrastructure design and delivery across a range of development schemes, working closely with clients, local authorities and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing your own projects from feasibility through to construction
* Leading the production of drainage, highways and infrastructure designs
* Preparing and reviewing S38, S278 and S104 submissions
* Producing planning and technical design packages
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders and approving authorities
* Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
* Contributing to team management and project delivery
What They're Looking For
* Min 5 years' experience in infrastructure or civil engineering
* Strong background in residential development projects
* Solid knowledge of UK drainage and flood risk design
* Experience with S38, S278 and S104 approvals
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Causeway PDS and drainage software
* Confident communicator with strong project ownership
