We are looking for a full-time (Monday - Friday) experienced Administrator to join our team to oversee all Construction/Build Administration tasks. You will be responsible for supporting the build team to deliver a range of high end residential, commercial, hospitality and leisure schemes as well as dealing with clients. Currently based in Newcastle however we will be relocating to our new premises based in North Shields late spring/early summer where free car parking will be available. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide daily administration support to Build Team and Site Operatives. Creating New job / Estimating folders on the Company Drive and maintain records Raise Purchase orders and keep log up to date. Organising post contract snagging work with Site Management and Clients Purchasing materials Build relationships with suppliers to ensure the best cost is obtained for materials Produce Site Health & Safety folders. Produce O&M Manuals for completed Projects. Set up new Subcontractors on the Company Drive and maintain relevant information is up to date. Document Control for current projects and tenders. Answering phones and general administrative duties. Organising post contract snagging works Keep all company systems up do date Filing Admin duties to assist with the QS team DESIRABLE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTEs Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent would be desirable with a minimum of 3 years Administration experience Experience in Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel PowerPoint & Outlook) Excellent interpersonal communication skills A professional telephone manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of the Construction Industry would be desirable The ability to work under pressure Excellent attention to detail Strong organisational skills Strong analytical skills Thorough. proactive and diligent approach to work Ability to prioritise workload & manage deadlines Customer focused attitude Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
