We are recruiting a Quality Inspector to join a busy engineering environment in Lincoln. This is a key role ensuring production quality standards are met and maintained throughout the forge and factory.
What are the hours of work?
Monday to Friday
3 rotating shifts. (7am to 3pm / 3pm to 11pm / 11pm to 7am)
What duties will I have?
Inspecting and measuring components using handheld tools, Faro arms and 3D scanners.
Checking parts against engineering drawings and tolerances.
Completing inspection reports, SPC charts, and PPAP documentation.
Identifying and reporting defects, scrap, and rework.
Supporting audits, calibration activities, and problem investigations.
Assisting with training and technical support for new starters.
What skills to I need?
Apprentice-trained or trainee applicants considered.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with inspection/measuring equipment (desirable).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work across all three shifts (non-negotiable).
Salary / Pay:
Pay: £13.77 – £16.49 per hour (based on training/experience).
Night shift allowance: +£1.02 per hour.
