You'll collaborate closely with production, engineering, and the wider quality team to maintain high levels of accuracy, reliability, and operational excellence.
Job Title: Quality Officer /Quality Inspector
Locations : Tamworth
Package: 35,000 - 45,000 + Package
Key Responsibilities :
* Carry out in-process and final inspections to verify product compliance with customer and internal specifications.
* Confidently use measurement equipment including callipers, micrometres, gauges, and custom fixtures.
* Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions when defects or non-conformances arise.
* Produce thorough inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
* Assist the Quality Manager and wider team with continuous improvement activities.
* Communicate effectively with production teams to prevent issues and maintain workflow.
* Manage customer and supplier concerns professionally, including issuing debit notes where appropriate.
* Handle customer quality queries over the phone, providing clear, technical explanations and reassurance.
Ideal Candidate :
* Previous Quality Experience
* Implementation of CI
* Experience within a Engineering, Manufacturing business + 2 years
