As part of a skilled and collaborative team, the successful candidate will work across all aspects of nursing, including inpatient care, anaesthesia, radiography, and nurse-led clinics. They will have access to dedicated nurse mentors, ongoing professional support, and the opportunity to specialise in areas such as orthopaedics, dentistry, dermatology, cardiology, feline care, and exotics. There is also scope to progress into hospital or head nurse roles, making this an ideal opportunity for career development in a forward-thinking practice.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care to inpatients and outpatients
Support anaesthesia and surgical procedures
Assist with radiography and diagnostic procedures
Lead or support nurse clinics across various specialties
Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
Collaborate closely with vets, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless care
Advise pet owners on health, wellness, and post-treatment care
Requirements
Qualified RVN with relevant clinical experience
Strong communication and team-working skills
Passion for high-quality patient care and professional development
Interest in specialised nursing areas is a plus
Enthusiasm for learning, mentoring, and contributing to a positive team culture
Benefits
Competitive salary: €30,000 €38,000 per year
5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays, increasing with length of service
40-hour week with minimal weekend work and no on-call duties
