Successful applicants will require a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. Would you like to be part of our very friendly, hard‑working, and forward‑thinking Radiology Appointments Team? If yes – a full‑time vacancy has arisen in this area of the Radiology Department.
The department provides a 7‑day imaging service; therefore, this post will include working across sites at both Whiston Hospital and St Helens Hospital. Some evenings, weekends and bank‑holiday duties on a rotational basis will also be included in the role.
The successful candidate will work as part of an established team to ensure the smooth running of this extremely busy department, booking appointments for a wide range of radiology procedures (obstetric and general ultrasound, CT, MRI scans, and more).
Applicants should be hard‑working, enthusiastic and well‑motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a very fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. An excellent telephone manner is a MUST and a high level of computer literacy is essential.
