HR Advisor Contact: Permanent Location: Manchester City Centre (fully on-site working) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Hours: 37.5 hrs p/w, Mon-Fri: 9-5 Interview: 1 stage, in-person This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded HR consultancy, based in the heart of Manchester. We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our expert team, delivering commercially focused and legally compliant HR and Employment Law advice to a wide range of clients across the UK. In this role, you'll be at the centre of supporting businesses with practical, solution-driven advice, helping clients navigate complex HR challenges while balancing compliance with their commercial objectives. What you'll be doing: Providing clear, pragmatic telephone-based advice to clients on all aspects of HR and Employment Law. Managing cases from start to resolution, building strong relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience. Keeping your HR and employment law knowledge up to date, ensuring advice is always current and compliant. Accurately recording advice on the internal case management system, taking full ownership of ongoing matters. Reviewing client documentation, offering constructive feedback, and signposting to template documents and resources where appropriate. Escalating and handing over cases as required, ensuring the highest quality of service throughout. Introducing clients to the full range of consultancy services and solutions available. Supporting colleagues by sharing expertise, delivering training sessions, and assisting new consultants. Conducting welcome calls with new clients to showcase the consultancy's services and software. What we're looking for: Strong knowledge of HR and Employment Law, with the ability to handle a wide variety of cases, including complex issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. A proactive and adaptable approach, with strong time management and organisational skills. Confidence working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for delivering an outstanding client experience and a genuine desire to make a difference. CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. Study support is available post-probation to help you continue progressing your HR career.
