About the Team The Mobile and Home Library Team is a small, friendly team based at Kenilworth Library. Working closely with volunteers, this team delivers a valuable library book delivery service to hundreds of elderly and vulnerable adults across Warwickshire. The Team, forming part of the wider Warwickshire Library Service offer, also provides support to our Mobile Library customers and Mobile Library Driver team. About the Role The working pattern each week would be as follows: Mon – OFF, Tues 10:30-14:30. Wed 10:30-14:30, Thu 10:30-14:30, Fri 12:00-15:00 Based at Kenilworth Community Services, Kenilworth Library. On a daily basis the successful applicant will work alongside staff members and volunteers to ensure the effective running of our Library Home Delivery Service. Applicants should be physically fit as the role includes the loading of books on to delivery vans, unpacking deliveries, in addition to assisting with book selections, answering phone calls and working alongside Volunteers. This role also offers support to the Mobile Library Driver team, in terms of answering customer and driver queries via email and telephone.
