Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year Requirements: Degree in IT or equivalent experience in application support Strong troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving complex issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting SLAs and KPIs Experience with ITSM tools, such as ticket management systems Fluent in English Experience supporting SharePoint, .NET, Java applications, and MSSQL is highly desirable Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders Strong understanding of IT governance and security standards Responsibilities: We provide day-to-day application support to end users and resolve issues in line with agreed SLAs We monitor the helpdesk system and respond to tickets promptly We resolve Tier 2 incidents and manage escalations to Tier 3 We perform regular system health checks and proactively address potential issues We investigate recurring problems and implement long-term solutions We collaborate with IT and business teams to provide technical support and guidance We maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures We support application releases, patches, and upgrades, including testing and validation We contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as process improvement, automation, and standardisation We participate in projects including enhancements, migrations, and new implementations We assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) We communicate technical concepts clearly and simplify issues for users and stakeholders We ensure compliance with IT governance and security standards Technologies: Architect Support ITSM Java Security SharePoint ASP.NET More: We are a global Applications Centre of Excellence team offering the opportunity to support a diverse application landscape, initially including SharePoint, .NET, Java applications, and associated platforms such as MSSQL.
