Overview
Based in Wareham, Purbeck Sports Centre is a large multi activity facility including a 25m swimming pool, sauna, 5 court sports hall, squash court, artificial sports pitches and tennis courts, softplay area and two fully equipped gyms.
We are looking for a part time maintenance officer to join our customer focused, friendly dedicated team to assist with the maintenance and management of the swimming pool and plant room. You will be able to demonstrate a background in public facility operations and have previous experience in maintaining buildings, equipment, building security and carrying out day to day reactive maintenance alongside monthly planned preventative maintenance schedules.
You will be required to maintain the swimming pool and associated plant room. Full training will be given with a requirement to pass the STA Pool Plant qualification if not held.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the swimming pool and associated plant room; assist with maintenance and management of the swimming pool area.
* Carry out day-to-day reactive maintenance alongside monthly planned preventative maintenance schedules.
* Contribute to a customer-focused, safe and well-maintained facility.
Qualifications and Experience
* Background in public facility operations and experience in maintaining buildings, equipment, building security, and routine maintenance.
* Willingness to undergo training and achieve the STA Pool Plant qualification if not already held.

* Part-time role at 24 hours per week; salary pro rata to reflect this.
