The Role
We’re recruiting a CNC Machinist (Milling) to join a well-established precision engineering business in Camberley.
This role is suitable for someone with hands-on CNC milling experience who can set and operate machines and has some programming knowledge. The business is open to less-experienced machinists, provided you have the right attitude and are keen to develop your skills.
You do not need to be a highly skilled 5-axis specialist — training and support will be provided depending on experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Setting and operating CNC milling machines
*
Programming from engineering drawings (online and/or offline, depending on experience)
*
Working on 3-axis and 4-axis machines (5-axis exposure beneficial but not essential)
*
Selecting tooling and making basic offsets and adjustments
*
Producing parts to required quality standards (ISO 9001 environment)
*
Working to drawings and job cards
What We’re Looking For
*
CNC machining experience (milling background preferred)
*
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
*
Some programming knowledge or willingness to learn
*
Experience with OneCNC or Edgecam beneficial but not essential
*
Experience on Haas and/or Matsuura machines beneficial
*
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
*
Good attitude and ability to work well within a team
