Responsibilities
* Assist the LSP or Senior Scientist in overseeing and documenting response actions such as Immediate Response Actions, Release Abatement Measures, and Phase I and II investigations at hazardous waste sites.
* Prepare scopes of work, including cost estimates and schedules, and provide consulting support for field service offices.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
* Knowledge of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and environmental policies.
* 5+ years’ experience in environmental assessment, remediation, or site construction, with direct experience with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan.
Skills and Attributes
* Ability to work both in the office and in the field, coordinating with field staff and technicians.
* Strong technical review, interpretation, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of remedial technologies, federal and state regulations.
* Proficiency in Windows-based activities, cost estimating, and technical documentation.
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and multitasking skills.
